APEX DC HD 5” FPV Frame Kit

The APEX DC is a modified variation of the ‘dead cat’ frame, ensuring alignment of front and rear motors for maintaining the beloved compressed-x geometry in the motor layout.

This design choice preserves frame balance and prevents compromises in flight characteristics. Unlike the classic ‘dead cat’ design, which shifts the rear motors closer to the body, impacting handling.

A notable concern with the Caddx Vista system is the grounding of the unit’s body. This can lead to the conductive carbon fiber plates and frame hardware being grounded as well. While not an issue in an ideal world, in reality, it poses a potential accident.

By modifying only the upper and lower main plates, full compatibility with regular Apex arms is retained. Standard 5″ arms are used at the front, and standard 6″ arms are used at the back. The Apex-DC includes newly redesigned 3D printed insulation inserts, ensuring a secure camera position, reducing vibrations, and providing electrical isolation from the frame.
